EUGENE, Ore. — Inflation is now affecting your cup of coffee. Whether you get your daily dose from the grocery store or at a local coffee shop, it might be a bit more expensive in the coming months.

At Dark Pine Coffee in downtown Eugene, they upped the price of each cup by 25 cents.

Barista Taylor Treadwell said they upped their prices because the minimum wage has increased and outside prices for supplies keep going up.

“As long as minimum wage keeps going up, I imagine that all of our prices and everybody else’s prices will keep going up, which is kind of unfortunate. I like minimum wage going up, but everything else increasing in price can be rough sometimes. But at least it’s gradual prices and not too crazy,” Treadwell said.
