BRIDGEWATER — Restoration Coffee will open its third location in Plymouth County, taking over the space that formerly housed Better Bean Coffee Co., which closed in late November.
Owner Matt Wood said he had been eyeing the space for years since he had a photography studio on the third floor of the building in Central Square. He lived in town for about five years when he first got married and started his family.
“I’ve always liked the center here and Bridgewater people,” said Wood, an East Bridgewater resident. “I’m happy to be back.”

After the other coffee shop closed, customers began reaching out to Wood to tell him to set up his shop in the Bridgewater space. He had the number for the building’s landlord, so he reached out.
