(WWJ) Detroit Police are searching for a group of suspects who went on an early morning burglary spree on the city’s east side.

Investigators said a series of four business break-ins took place between 2:53 a.m. and 3:31 a.m. on Wednesday.

The first hit was a gas station in the 6300 block of E. Jefferson Ave., followed by a coffee shop in the 7200 block of E. Jefferson. The next two were both dollar stores, in the 10900 block of E. Jefferson and 17900 block of E. Warren.

At each location, police said it appears that the suspects pried open the front doors to get inside. There’s no details available about what was stolen, as the investigation gets underway.

Police said the suspects may be four Black males, but there is no further description at this time.
