CDGA Coffee Co. and Young Lion Brewing release their Coffee Saison
CANANDAIGUA — CDGA Coffee Co. brings the coffee, and Young Lion Brewing Co. brings the beer.
And the folks behind the two Canandaigua-based companies have been friends for some time. So when the two get together to celebrate their collaboration, it only makes sense in this case to have a brunch release party.
It is coffee-infused beer, after all.
The product of the Young Lion and CDGA Coffee production, a special release Coffee Saison farmhouse ale will be in Canandaigua-area stores later this week. You could call it a weekend in a can, as the aroma hints at a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning, while the beer is light — not a stout as one might expect — and offers a subtle reminder of perhaps the Saturday night before. And they pair well together, like the two companies do.
