The Day Breaker
The Day Breaker brings together Ethiopian and Colombian beans that have been lightly roasted to showcase the ripe, juicy berry and wine-like flavor notes of the coffee beans.
Tips for Brewing
Use a scale to accurately measure the amount of coffee grounds and water. Don’t forget to zero out the scale before adding water.
Lightly wet the coffee filter before adding the coffee grounds.
When pouring hot water into a filter with coffee grounds, pour in a clockwise swirl motion from the outside of the filter towards the inside in order to agitate all of the coffee grounds.
How to Brew Chameleon Organic Whole Bean Coffee
French Press
Add 55 grams of Dark, Black & Bold ground coffee into the pre-rinsed filter.
Pour 850 grams of hot water into the French Press and stir.
With the plunger up, let the coffee steep for 4 minutes. Plunge evenly and slowly. Pour and enjoy!
Pour Over
Add 14 grams of Single Origin ground coffee into the pre-rinsed filter.
Pour 230 grams of hot water over the grounds and let them bloom. Let it drain and enjoy!
Chemex
Add 42 grams of The Day Breaker ground coffee into the pre-rinsed filter.
Pour 150 grams of hot water over the grounds and let them bloom.
Repeat by adding 300 grams of water (scale should read 450 grams) and 250 grams of water (scale should read 700 grams). Allow the coffee grounds to bloom between each pour. Let it drain and enjoy!
