MERIDIAN, Idaho — A cruise for a cause took place at the Village at Meridian today, as Boise cars and coffee teamed up with the Marines and the German Speed car club in a Toys for Tots event.

The event brought out car enthusiasts and some holiday spirit.

Generous participants donated new, unwrapped toys for the drive.

Every year, Toys for Tots brings holiday joy to deserving kids around the county. “It’s all about community,” said First Sergeant Craig Wilcox. “This is a community, a car club that comes together and does something that they enjoy, and then, in turn, they get to give back to their community as a whole.”

Toys for Tots is collecting donations at numerous locations through the Treasure Valley until mid-December.
