I have “A Little Bit Alexis” from Schitt’s Creek stuck in my head, and this happens more often than you’d think for someone who doesn’t regularly listen to it!

Ramble of the Day

The 2020 SheBelieves Cup got started yesterday, with Spain beating Japan 3-1 and the U.S. beating England to start off the annual tournament. I didn’t plan on rambling about it, but it appears this year, the players all agreed to score bangers.

First up, Japan’s Mana Iwabuchi scoring her side’s lone goal of the game.

Like any normal person, I thought there would only be one outstanding goal of the day. I suppose the SheBelieves Cup isn’t normal, and I probably should’ve known that. Additionally, Christen Press is Christen Press, so naturally she scored a nice goal of her own:

Not to be outdone, Lindsay Horan came up with a lovely assist to Carli Lloyd’s goal just a few minutes later.

We’ll find out in the coming days if the players at the SheBelieves Cup can…
