Suspect tried to hide his meth in his coffee

Sometimes a plain cup of coffee isn’t enough.

But according to a recent Wichita Falls Police arrest report, a suspect added a little more than creamer to his coffee.

Wichita Falls police spokesman, officer Brian Masterson said officers arrested Jerry Smith after traffic yielded marijuana and methamphetamine

Officers Masterson said shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers observed a vehicle fail to signal to turn from Windthorst Road onto Central Freeway. The vehicle, driven by Smith, continued to drive, Masterson said, and the officers pursued until Smith pulled over.

The officers, Masterson said, noticed that Smith was making movements towards the center console of his vehicle. Smith was placed in custody where the officers found a hand-rolled cigar located behind his ear that contained…
