ELBA, Ala. (WDHN) — A Coffee County attorney was arrested and charged with knowingly providing false voter information on Wednesday.

Alyse Fowler, 34, of Opp is accused of providing false voter information in the 2020 Elba Municipal Election August 25, 2020.

The court records say that Fowler is a resident of Covington County, who registered to vote in Coffee County.

Fowler was arrested on Tuesday by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

Fowler’s bond was set at $6,000, however, she has since bonded out of the Coffee County Jail.

On Friday, she appeared in front of the judge for the first time.
