Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center

This year’s fundraiser for Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center will be an in-person event, offering fun activities, golf simulators, video and arcade style games, bumper cars and more. The event is Apr. 21, at the Detention @ The Elementary entertainment center.

Coffee County CAC Director Joyce Prusak expressed her excitement about “our first in-person fundraiser since 2019.” Coffee County CAC is a nonprofit serving children who have experienced severe abuse.

North Coffee Elementary School’s parent organization celebrated the school’s designation as a Rewards School Friday before spring break with ice cream. The designation, earned by four schools in the district, is based on state test score.

Manchester Parks and Recreation Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 30. The hunt for ages 7 and under will be at 1 p.m. at Fred Deadman Park and the 8 and up hunt will be at 8 p.m. at the Manchester Soccer Complex.

According to the state, the City of Manchester recently completed requirements under an Agreed Order with the Department of Environment and Conservation dating back to Aug. 28, 2014.

The North Coffee Volunteer Fire Department will host an all you can eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Noah Community Center, 165 Noah Road, Beechgrove.
