Update, August 17, 2020: Last month we got the news of our coffee-loving dreams: Dunkin' was teaming up with Post to make a cereal. We were told that boxes of this breakfast gamechanger would be on shelves in August, and they're finally popping up in grocery store aisles everywhere!

@Foodiewiththebeasts shared a photo from their ShopRite where both the caramel macchiato and mocha latte flavors were available. Both cereals seem to have round crunchy pieces and some swirly marshmallow bits that probably provide the coffee flavor to each bite. The flavors also will totally infuse the milk at the end of each bowl so you'll really get to savor every serving.

The cereal itself does offer a bit of a caffeine boost, but you'll probably still want to have a cup of coffee on the side to get you through the day. Either way, pouring yourself a bowl or two of the new Dunkin' cereal is a great way to start your day. Besides, after you finish it up, you can always head to the drive-thru to try out Dunkin's new fall menu.

Original Post, July 28, 2020: So many of us wake up every morning and look forward to the moment when we get to pour ourselves a giant bowl of cereal and an even larger cup of coffee. Now, we can put those two steps together because Dunkin' is making the coffee-flavored cereal of our caffeinated dreams.

Dunkin' is teaming up with Post to make two different cereals inspired by some of its most beloved drinks. You can choose from either Dunkin' Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte (shown in the bowl above), each made with real Dunkin' coffee. The Caramel Macchiato cereal contains cereal pieces and caramel-swirled marshmallows so you get the same creamy flavor as you do with the iconic coffee drink. The Mocha Latte cereal has a hint of chocolate cereal pieces and latte-swirled marshmallows so it's perfect for coffee and chocolate fans alike.

Best of all, because it's made with coffee, this cereal actually contains caffeine! OK, you'll probably still need your morning coffee to help you get through the day but each cereal contains the caffeine in roughly a 10th of a cup of coffee, according to the brand, so, um, it's something!

If you're already as excited as we are about this cereal collab, you won't have to wait long to pour yourself a giant bowl. Both cereals are set to hit stores in August, as in, the month that's just a few days away! They'll be available nationwide, so get ready to grab yourself a Dunkin' iced coffee after you head to the store and keep your eyes peeled in the cereal aisle.
