Update, December 17, 2019 10:26 a.m.: Well, I am a BAD guesser. Starbucks finally revealed the identity of its mystery coffee creamer flavor and it's...Toffeenut! Did you guess it?
It's inspired by the Toffeenut Latte at Starbucks and the brand has previously released Toffeenut at-home coffee, but putting this buttery, toasty flavor in a creamer is totally genius. This is all we're going to want to sip in those dreary winter months following the festive season.
You can expect to see this in your grocery stores starting in January 2020. For now, we'll continue to savor festive sips while we still can...
Original, December 5, 2019 10:39 a.m.: When Starbucks announced that it would be making coffee creamer you could buy in stores, everyone totally freaked out. This was a GAME. CHANGER. The chain is now coming out with another flavor of coffee creamer...but they're playing it pretty coy when it comes to what, exactly, it is.
To refresh your memory, three Starbucks creamers came out in August: Caramel Macchiato, White Chocolate Mocha, and Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Now, Starbucks has announced that a fourth creamer will be joining the line-up, but that fans need to guess what it could possibly be.
From today, December 5, through December 11, you can tweet your guesses with the hashtags #StarbucksCreamerMysteryFlavor and #giveaway. There is something in it for you besides the satisfaction of being correct. The first 50 people to guess the flavor correctly will receive it before it comes to shelves nationwide in January.
Unfortunately Starbucks has given us no hints, so we're all on our own here! But something tells me that it's going to be similar to a current Starbucks drink, like the others are. It probably won't be a super holiday flavor (sorry!) because it's coming out in January, but a gal can dream that it will still be a bit winter inspired. January is tough! We need a little magic.
My guesses are maybe Irish Cream? Like the delicious new beverage? Sweet cream? Like the old fave cold brew? Maybe, I dunno, Strawberries and Cream to really get crazy? Your guess is as good as mine...actually it's probably better than mine. I'm a terrible guesser. Good luck!
