A Scots dad and daughter have shared a hilarious TikTok video where he reacts savagely to Tinder messages she has received.

John Hirst, 63, didn't hold back when responding to the messages on the dating app and in Instagram DMs Susan had been sent.

The first came from an admirer called Russell who wrote: "Why Hello There Susan - what is the quickest way to win you over?"

John, from Edinburgh, is unimpressed and says after a momentary pause: "A nice meal, Yo Sushi maybe?" while his daughter laughs.

The next reads: "You look like a Kardashian" to which John replies: "Which one? Kourtney?" before chuckling, Edinburgh Live reports.

Another person exclaims: "OMG ain't you a hottie?"

John looks confused and replies: "What's that supposed to mean? Are you blind? Of course she's a hottie."

Finally one slid into the student's DM's and said: "Happening Sue x" to which her dad quickly responded "Nothing's happening, not with you anyway."

John replied: "Which one? Kourtney?"
John replied: "Which one? Kourtney?"

Susan said that she and her dad are very close and all of her friends adore him too. She added that he just can't help getting involved with the dating gossip.

The 22-year-old explained, "At the start it was hard to convince him but me and all my friends have always thought he’s so funny - I think he now secretly likes it and always asks how many views we’re on.

"He is protective but we’re really close so he does love a gossip about dating and all my pals dating gossip but he gets so confused about the ‘talking stage’ though.

"He knows how awkward I am around guys sometimes so he always ends up making fun of me like one time I accidentally hit a guy I liked in the face with a door and he thinks it’s hilarious.

"But he does hype me up and tells me to go for it when I do really like someone. He doesn’t like any of my ex’s and is really savage about them - possibly a TikTok in the making.

"He’s always trying to get the latest gossip tho about the boy I’m talking to now."

The hilarious clip has been viewed over 3000 times with over one hundred likes with many social media users obsessed with the funny the honest dad.

One user said: "needs his own TikTok - brilliant."

another exclaimed: "Your dad is brilliant."

While one added: "'He's hilarious."
